Welcome to nursing school. It’s awful, you’re gonna love it.

Hi! I’m Meris. I’m a registered nurse working in the Emergency Room of a local trauma center, and I’m also the Nurse Team Lead for Level Up RN. I live in Ohio and I have two small children, three cats, and 55 houseplants. I also serve as the President of the Ohio Student Nurses Association. I have a passion for studying, learning, and education. In my free time I like to read, listen to true crime podcasts, tend to my plants, and hang out with my kiddos.

I created this blog while I was in nursing school to share with you what worked for me, how I studied, how I learn, and how I managed to survive the hell we call nursing school. As with all advice, if it works for you, GREAT! If it doesn’t ditch it, and keep trying.
