Gifts for the Healthcare Professional
As we have discussed, telling you how to spend your money is in one of my top ten favorite things to do. That is especially true when it comes to buying gifts for the healthcare professionals in your life. Here are some of my “must haves” and the things I think your favorite healthcare professional would love and appreciate!
All images link to their respective websites. I have added discount codes to the images where applicable, so don’t forget to use them!
For Clove, code CLOVEMERIS will always save you 10% off your order!
For Little Words Project, code MERIS15 will always save you 15% off your order!
These are both affiliate links, meaning that I will earn a small commission from sales that use my code at no extra cost to you! The Amazon link is also an affiliate link, but all other links are not!
I love these bracelets SO much. I especially love that you can register the bracelets and then pass them on to someone else who could use the reminder later on, and they can track where their bracelet has been! I also have a few custom LWP bracelets that I love. I have a custom bracelet that says ER NURSE, one that says IT ISNT LUCK (because it isn’t luck, it’s hard work!), and one that says CHAOTIC GOOD (which I think really sums up the ER nurse alignment).
I’m a bit of a compression sock connoisseur. I’ve tried at least six different brands, and I can say with certainty that the Clove socks are the absolute best. They’re thick and supportive without being hot or making my feet sweaty. They’re easy to get on, but still provide incredibly high quality compression. If your healthcare worker is spending 12 hours on their feet, they need compression socks!
The second version of the uNight Light is everything I could have ever dreamed of. The magnet is stronger, the light is dimmable, you can easily choose which color you want (white, red, or blue!), and it’s rechargeable! This is perfect for the night shifter in your life, or anyone who works with people who might need a dark environment (like neuro patients!).
In May of 2022 I spoke at “Nurse’s Day at the Statehouse” on the steps of the Ohio Statehouse. I talked about my experience with unsafe staffing and I called for legislators to do more, and do better. After my speech, I was approached by the nurse who owns More Pins PRN and she gave me one of her “Today is a Beautiful Day for Safe Staffing” pins, which I immediately added to my collection. She later sent me a whole slew of pins to share with my coworkers to help brighten their days. Nurses are always supporting nurses, and I would love to repay the favor. Her double dumpster fire pin is one of my newest faves!
